Honestly, aside from just a pure glitch, that's the only reason I can think of. That's different than the weapon falling from enemy hands after death and getting knocked away. If the weapon was fully knocked out of his hands before death and he didn't execute the package to pick it back up, it may not appear on his inventory. The only thing I can think of is that he was fully disarmed somehow. One valid reason would be the weapon was dropped before he was killed and it laying around somewhere.Īnother is you have mods that modified the leveled list for the special gauss rifle he carries.
